3 At Home Treatments worth Trying
There’s finally a slight chill in the air and all of us I know are dreaming for cooler winter days. I feel like our summers are so rough that even people who absolutely loathe winter can’t help but breathe a sigh of relief as soon as chilly weather rolls around. So taking a little break from winter blogging and trying to focus on things you guys might enjoy reading about, I thought I would share 3 of my favorite at home remedies for the hair, skin and feet! These are remedies that are super easy to follow at home, with ingredients you should be able to find readily (even probably already in your kitchen). The best part, they barely take any time so here goes nothing:
2 tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined. Starting at your roots, on dry un-washed hair, apply the mixture. When you have applied a generous amount, run a comb through your hair to make sure the mixture is distributed evenly across all your strands.
Clip your hair up for 30-60 minutes. Then rinse mixture out of your hair well and use conditioner if you feel it is needed.
Natural Acne Face Mask
1 tbsp raw Oatmeal
1 tbsp Honey
1.5 tbsp Yogurt
– Mix these together in a small bowl until well blended.
– Apply to your face like a thin layer for 20 minutes, then rinse off.
(Use every day if you have trouble with acne, if not you can use it as a cleanser every week or whenever you have a bout of acne.)
Dead Skin Foot Soak
¼ Cup Listerine
¼ Cup Vinegar
½ Cup Water
Mix these in a foot soak bowl.
Soak your feet for 10 minutes
Clean with dry towel and watch your dead skin peel right off.
Don’t forget to moisturize with coconut oil or a nice moisturizing foot cream after!
Always remember to stay hydrated during this weather, even though you might not feel like it. I hope these three remedies seem like ones you can add to your beauty routine and won’t be too time consuming. If done right, they work wonders. Do give them a try and drop me an email to let me know how they went. If you have feedback, questions or any other concerns drop me a line on my Facebook page. Until next Monday, have a fantastic week!
