Miraculous Uses of Aloe Vera
What’s up my gorgeous readers? How’s the day going? So, someone asked me about my “go-to” natural skin, hair and beauty regime and this couldn’t get easier. I instantly articulated my choice. You know some things in life are so beautiful, simple yet miraculous. One of such wonderful things is Aloe Vera, commonly known to mankind as the plant of immortality. The benefits of this beauty are multifarious and it makes a multipurpose natural boon. Following are some, I repeat, some of the brilliant uses of Aloe Vera. I am sure you might be familiar with some already but hey, I like reinforcing so yeah. Let’s see what this magical plant is capable of.
With its detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties, Aloe Vera can safely be put at the top among the list of natural skincare products. No wonder Aloe Vera extracts are proudly advertised in every other beauty product. There is a reason for this. The Aloe Vera gel not only cleanses but also maintains the natural moisture of skin which is essential to keep it balanced and healthy. From scrubbing to curing acne and anything in between, there are literally hundreds of beauty uses of Aloe Vera. My faves? Here you go:
Aloe Vera Scrub
The Aloe gel, combined with sugar and lemon makes a kickass scrub that frees your skin from any form of impurities and helps maintain an even-tone complexion. All you need to make this DIY natural scrub is to scoop two spoons of Aloe gel out of the stem with a butter knife or spoon, mix it with 4 spoons of sugar and 1 spoon of fresh lemon juice. This works with triple action; the sugar helps exfoliate, the lemon enhances skin tone while keeping the tan at bay while Aloe Vera will cleanse and hydrate the skin. Try this and you’ll be doing this every week! And yes, you’re welcome!
Soothe the Bites and Burns
Got stung by a mosquito or wasp? Got a burn? Too bad. It’s alright! Grow Aloe Vera at home and benefit from this magnificent reliever. There is no better quick fix than the natural extracts and soothing effect of Aloe gel.
Stretch Marks Remover and Anti-Ageing Formula
Our skin is incredibly elastic. Do you notice those fine lines (that are usually lighter in color than our actual skin tone) after rapid weight gain and post-pregnancy? These stretch marks are actually small skin tears and, quite surprisingly, can be cured with the regular use of Aloe Vera. Amazing, right? Just massage the area with Aloe gel and poof, they are gone as if they were never there before.
Premature skin ageing is very common among youngsters these days. It’s because our skin has to endure so much on regular basis. Aloe Vera works wonders with fixing the sings of premature ageing. This natural potion not only helps tighten pores and also maintain skin’s general health. The result is naturally beautiful and youthful skin. This is as simple as that. Now who doesn’t want that radiant skin? I am sure we all do.
Talk about scoring flamboyant, flawless hair and nothing does it better than Aloe Vera. This natural hair care regime gives your hair a new life. Aloe gel maintains the pH balance of the scalp which leads to lesser hair problems. It enables the scalp to provide the right kind of environment for hair that is ideal for their health and growth. Here are some of my all time favorite ( and tried & tested) uses of Aloe Vera.
Ditch the Dandruff
Now all of us have been the victims of dandruff in one way or the other. We have been desperate in times where our scalp hated us for constantly itching it. To reduce dandruff, aggravated due to scalp impurities, extract the Aloe gel and directly apply it on the scalp. After a few hours (you can leave it overnight as well) and rinse afterwards with your normal shampoo. The anti-inflammatory properties of Aloe gel will condition your hair and soothe your scalp against itching.
Hair Growth Formula
Research has time and again associated Aloe Vera with hair growth. If hair growth has been your one of your life goals lately than you can easily count on this bounty. It proves to be an excellent hair growth tonic that nourishes hair from root to tip. The effect multiplies if you use it with castor oil. To get started, mix two tablespoons of Aloe gel with one tablespoon of castor oil and apply it on your scalp. Leave it overnight and rinse in the morning. Your hair not only will be softer and better but you’ll also see visible hair growth with a short span of time.
There’s no way Aloe Vera could disappoint us when it comes to health and fitness. The health benefits of the plant of immortality cannot easily be counted on finger tips. Here are some o f its health benefits:
The magical properties of Aloe Vera are no secret. You can actually eat, or drink, it to be the best at your health game. Aloe juice is a great cure for inflammation.
Regulates Blood Sugar Level & Controls Cholesterol
Numerous research and clinical trials have proved that Aloe Vera is ideal for reducing cholesterol levels and maintaining blood sugar. Probably that is the reason it is frequently used as a supplement in diabetes.
Egyptians have long linked consumption of Aloe Vera with strong immunity and that’s why the world is head over heels for aloe supplements.
I mean, I can go on and on with this but we gotta stop here. These were a FEW of the reasons why I love Aloe Vera and recommend it for skin, hair and healthcare regime. Do share our feedback and views (I hope, I don’t need to say this now!) and keep showering me with your love and support. Until next time.
